The opponent is not equipped to challenge any of your cards leaving you free to drop your last card without having to challenge a card you cannot defeat.
In this case I opted for placing my survivor Randy Orton to the left of my super rare Shawn Michaels - this way I am left with only up arrows and there is no risk of being forced into a fight I cannot winĥ. Given that the opponent appears to have run out of up and right arrows you should be safe to put a card anywhere besides the bottom left since you could still lose it. So what should you do in this situation? You want to avoid fighting any of their cards because not only will it will not end well, you don't need to. They run out of cards that have the arrow they need and stop contesting your cards. This happens fairly regularly with this strategy since most people's decks aren't necessarily set up to keep fighting in the same corner.
The opponent hasn't taken back your card. Again, this wins back and blocks in your rare Brock Lesnar, which is key to this strategy.Ĥ. So now your rare Brock Lesnar has been taken, but you still have access to him from the left using your super rare Shawn Michaels. This means that card is yours and cannot be won back by your opponent.ģ. This wins back your common Titus and crucially blocks him in from both sides. As expected the opponent took Titus without any difficulty, but you still have access to him using an up arrow, that rare Brock Lesnar should do the trick. The key to this strategy is to defend your own cards - the common Titus is the easiest card to win back, and we have the cards to claim it from below or from the left, so you want to lead with common Titus in the top right hand corner.Ģ. Remember this is competing in Survivor tier so it's massively underpowered.ġ. This strategy helps you to do that more consistently. In short, if all you do is win back and protect cards that you lose, you will win your RD bout 5-4. This isn't the deck I used throughout most of RD, this was a deck I constructed specifically to be much weaker than most decks of its tier in order demonstrate the strategy more clearly. You can focus on whichever corner works best for your cards, but do have one or two arrows that go against the grain and will allow you to avoid fighting at the end if that is the best option. This because we will set out to defend cards from one specific corner of the board (in this case the top right hand corner). You'll notice that most of the cards in this example are up arrows and right arrows with one down and one left. The second thing to get right is the arrows. The deck in this guide is an extreme example for illustrative purposes and your cards should ideally be much closer to your strongest card, but a heirarchy is still very important. You should ideally have a clear hierarchy to your deck - try to avoid a bunch of cards that can all beat each other depending on the stats involved. The first thing to get right is the construction of your deck.
